Accessing notification settings**
Go to Admin → Settings → Notifications. You see three tabs: Email, Slack, and In-App. Each tab lets you toggle individual notification types on or off for that channel.
**Email notifications**
Enter the email address (or comma-separated list) that should receive each category. New order notifications are off by default to avoid inbox overload — most teams prefer the dashboard. Return requests and buyer disputes are on by default because they require prompt action.
**Slack notifications**
Connect your Slack workspace by clicking Connect Slack and authorising the MoyoDesk Slack app. Select the channel for each notification type. A common setup is #orders for new order alerts, #support for buyer messages, and #operations for WMS and stock alerts.
**In-app notifications**
In-app notifications appear as the bell icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Badge numbers update in real time. Click a notification to jump directly to the relevant order, ticket, or message.
**Setting up infrastructure alerts**
If you have access to the SuperAdmin panel, go to SA → Infrastructure → Alert Rules. Set CPU, memory, and disk thresholds. When any metric breaches a threshold for the configured duration (default five minutes), the alert fires via email and optionally Slack. This is most relevant for self-hosted or dedicated server deployments.
**Weekly digest**
Enable the weekly digest under Admin → Settings → Notifications → Weekly Report. MoyoDesk emails a summary every Monday at 08:00 covering the previous week's order count, revenue, top-selling products, return rate, and AI autoreply usage.
**Muting notifications**
During planned maintenance or high-volume periods, click Mute All under each channel tab. Set a mute duration of one, four, or twenty-four hours. All notifications resume automatically when the mute expires.
